second and final session of Fasig-Tipton’s Midlantic
December Mixed Sale in Timonium,
Maryland. Straight Draw Stables
landed the colt for $62,000. Catalogued
as hip 334, the Apr. 11 foal,
a registered New York-bred, was
consigned by Thomas J. Gallo III
Sales Agency. The chestnut, bred
by Mia V. Gallo & Sandra Sanborn,
was produced by the unraced nineyear-
old mare Precious Queenie
(Wild Event), a half to a stakes winner
and several stakes producers. Golden Missile will stand his first season in
New York in 2008 at Milfer Farms for a fee of $7,500.
